A testing program was set up to investigate the fish survivability of Venturi Enhanced Turbine Technology (VETT) using a full scale instrumented model. Special focus was given to assessing the effect of fish passage through the venturi section where hydrostatic pressure drops in an instant and might be harmful to fish.
